Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A background in medical office operations is preferred, as the receptionist will handle various administrative duties related to patient care.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain the medical scheduling system.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in patient records.
- Handle some medical coding tasks, input insurance information accurately
- Process medical collections and assist with billing inquiries.
- Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
- Provide support for administrative tasks as needed to enhance office efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- AthenaHealth EHR profeciency is required.
- Proficiency in typing and data entry with strong attention to detail.
